Organisation Description: On The Go Theatre Company, all aged over 55, write and perform plays and sketches in many locations in the Bolton area bringing together groups from all backgrounds, ages and cultures. The group writes plays which are based on historical fact and aim to encourage the audience to discuss and reflect on their own experiences. This promotes a feeling of participation and wellbeing for the group and its audiences. We also conduct workshops for schools involving role play and information about the past which shows the students how their lives are shaped by past events and what needs to be changed for the future.
