Organisation Description: The main aims of the group are to promote growing, sourcing local produce and healthy eating by working with the community, local businesses and schools. A number of projects are starting: community gardens on Hough Lane and at the Village Hall, as well as use of land for community growing at the Last Drop Village Hotel. A list of local producers is being compiled and the group is developing links with local schools. The website will have further details on meetings, healthy eating, recipes and new projects. It is intended that for each project, groups of people will adopt the plot, and ultimately plant and maintain the area themselves, as well as benefitting from the produce.
