Organisation Description: Established in 2011 Westhoughton Community Network (WCN) is an independent information sharing network run for the benefit of its participating local volunteer groups, its goal to advance and promote community activities and community projects in Westhoughton, and to be both point of contact for and voice for community interests and relevant initiatives. The groups that make up WCN cover a wide variety of activities and interests across all age groups. The network meets quarterly at venues around Westhoughton, whilst promoting its activities though the website, social media, newsletters/emails and community events.
