The organisation’s themes: The Arts/Arts and Crafts
Organisation Description: CofE faith based group promoting community activities and involvement in local area issues and activities which include Line Dancing Classes (every Wednesday evening); Walking Group (every second weekend): Brunch Club (every Thursday Morning); Gardening Group (every Friday morning); Art & Craft Group (every Friday morning); Interfaith understanding activities (East Meets West – every Tuesday lunchtime); Periodic social “theme” evenings; Periodic concerts; Attendance at local council Forum meetings for both Crompton Ward & Astley Bridge Ward’ Involvement with community events organised by local Councillors. All the above are open to all members of the public irrespective of religious belief. Associated church groups operating from St Paul’s church include Operatic Society; Ladies Fellowship; Men’s Guild; Girl Guides; Rainbows; children’s choir; Prayer groups; Youth groups; Mother’s Union.
