Organisation Description: Bolton Toy Library is a registered charity established in 1981. We provide a warm welcome to children (0-5 years) (some older children 5-7 if funding provides) and their families. Our aim is to provide therapeutic play opportunities to aid development, improve emotional wellbeing for children, support Perinatal parents 0-2 years to meet others, share their circumstances whilst gaining support from sensitve staff and volunteers. We support children with special educational needs, disabilities and additional needs or those without a diagnosis, by offering one to one sessions, access to our multi-sensory room, we loan a quality range of specialised resources in the home or setting. We offer weekly loans of free toys, books, active toys, construction including our bespoke Emotional wellbeing kits to help children learn to cope with challenges; separated families, bereavement, anxieties and other cicumstances.
