Organisation Description: Be The Change Youth Project CIC is a community-led youth organisation based in Bolton, supporting young people aged 8–18 (and up to 25 with additional needs). We work in one of the top 10% most deprived areas in England, supporting young people facing poverty, exclusion, poor mental health and exposure to violence. As a Black-led organisation rooted in lived experience, we engage young people who do not access mainstream provision. Since 2015, we have grown rapidly, recently opening our own youth centre and now supporting over 150 young people weekly through safe spaces, mentoring, leadership and creative programmes.
