Organisation Description: Here to Care, Not to Battle is a community led carers network that exists to support, empower and elevate carers. We welcome all carers, regardless of who they care for or what conditions they support. Our purpose is to ensure no carer is left isolated, unheard or navigating complex systems alone.
We create a space where lived experience is valued, peer led support is the priority and carers can access real connection, guidance and knowledge. We focus on creating change, developing confidence and strengthening carers so they can continue doing one of the most important roles in society without losing themselves in the process.
Our group promotes peer support sessions, community connection, education, advocacy, signposting, wellbeing, collective growth and friendships. We believe carers deserve to feel valued, respected and empowered to lead fulfilling lives alongside their caring responsibilities.
