Organisation Description: Hoot Credit Union is a credit union financial co-operative which is owned and controlled by its members. The credit union has 4000 members and is open to people who live work or study in Bolton and Bury. The objects of the credit union are: the promotion of thrift among its Members of the society by the accumulation of their savings; the creation of sources of credit for the benefit of its members at a fair and reasonable rate of interest the use and control of members’ savings for their mutual benefit; the training and education of members in wise use of money and in the management of their financial affairs.
