Organisation Description: Kearsley Youth Brass Band is an organisation in Bolton that provides excellent opportunities for people to learn a brass instrument, play as part of a band and meet new friends...completely free of charge! We meet at Kearsley Mount Methodist Church on a Tuesday evening. The Kearsley Training Band meets 5pm-6pm, where you’ll be provided with an instrument and tuition free of charge. Once you’ve got to know your way around the instrument a little, you can move up to the youth band, which runs from 6.30pm-8.15pm, also on Tuesday evenings. Kearsley Youth Brass Band plays lots of concerts around the community, as well as undertaking bigger projects, like our recent tour to Anglesey.
No experience needed – just come along on a Tuesday evening at 5pm and try it out!
KYBB is open to all, regardless of the name. There’s no age limit on music!
